The Humane Society of Stillwater is a nonprofit, adoption guaranteed animal shelter that serves homeless dogs and cats in the Stillwater community. The purpose of the Humane Society of Stillwater is to facilitate the placement of stray and unwanted animals and pets in desirable homes; to establish and maintain an animal shelter and associated procedures which promote the health, care and handling, and prevent over population of cats and dogs. The animals in our care are never euthanized merely because we lack space or because the animal’s stay with us has exceeded a predefined amount of time. We spay/neuter and vaccinate all of the animals in our care and do our best to give them a loving home until they are adopted into a home of their own.

Walk N Wag 2013 Couch Park April 27, 2013 Registration: 10:00 AM Walk Begins: 11:00 AM Walk N Wag 2013 is just around the corner!! Each participant is requested to obtain donations from individual sponsors. Any participant turning in a minimum of $25.00 in donations on the day of the walk will receive an official "Walk-N-Wag" T-shirt. Those not collecting donations must pay a $25.00 registration fee to participate and receive a T-shirt. Please do not stop at the minimum. Every dollar collected will be used to fund the work of the Humane Society of Stillwater. Cat lovers take note- the dogs do the work while the cats sit back and relax! You do not have to own a dog to participate. All persons interested in the welfare of homeless pets are encouraged to obtain donations and walk in support of the Humane Society. Your enthusiastic participation will save lives and you will have fun too! Prizes have been donated and will be distributed following the walk based in the amount of money turned in during registration.
Instructions 1. Ask everyone you know (friends, classmates, co-workers, family members etc.) to help sponsor your participation in the Walk-N-Wag by making donations. 2. Be sure the donation sheet is filled out legibly and completely including total dollar amount of donations you have collected. 3. Each participant is responsible for collecting his/her own money. Checks are preferred and should be made out to the Humane Society of Stillwater. 4. Donations are due on the day of the walk at registration. 5. Registration starts at 10:00 AM and the walk starts at 11:00 AM.
