WELCOME...The Humane Society of Stillwater operates a NO-KILL nonprofit shelter that exists on donations from the public. We house dogs and cats here until they are adopted permanently into good homes. The Humane Society shares a building with the City Animal Welfare shelter, and aids in the adoption of animals there. Stillwater's Animal Welfare division can only hold animals for a limited time period; at the end of that period, they are euthanized. Whenever space is available, the Humane Society takes in those animals that are at risk of being euthanized.	LATEST EVENTS... Starting June 15 - The Cutest Pet Contest is BACK!! The Cutest Pet Contest will be held from June 15th to July 15th. To enter just click on the link above 'Cutest Pet Contest' above or http://www.fatcatphotos.com/contests/. Entries are $10 each and anyone can vote on any picture for $1 a vote. Prizes include: a professional photo shoot of the winning pet from Fat Cat Photography LLC with one of the photos being featured in the 2009 Humane Society Calendar, a dinner for two at the Rib Crib in Stillwater, two Carmike movie tickets, a $50 gas card, a $25 gas card and a $50 Petco gift card.

	NOW thru June 22nd - All tips received at McAlisters' Deli will be donated to the Humane Society of Stillwater. June 26th - Eat at Rib Crib in Stillwater, OK from 5 to 10 pm! Please mention to your server that you are eating for the animals and 10% of your bill will be donated to the Humane Society.
