The Humane Society of Stillwater utilizes volunteers in a variety of ways to meet its goals of saving animals in our community. As a volunteer, you make the lives of pets at the shelter better each day by:
- Walking and exercising dogs
- Playing with and socializing cats
- Helping to keep kennels clean
- Showing animals to families who want to adopt a pet
- Working with Humane Society staff in office
- Participating in offsite adoptions at Hastings, Atwoods and PetsMart
- Participating in fundraising programs
- Pick up food from particapating local merchants for the animals
- Conducting servce projects to benefit the Humane Society
- And much, much, more...
Among the many benefits of being a part of the Stillwater Humane Society Volunteer Program:
